$110,000 TradeCorp is hiring an experienced Project Manager, Fire Systems for commercial fire alarm installation, service, inspections, and system commissioning projects throughout the Tampa area. We are looking for a hands-on professional with strong technical knowledge of commercial fire alarm systems, NFPA standards, and customer communication skills. Responsibilities Install, service, troubleshoot, and test commercial fire alarm systems Pull cable, terminate devices, label systems, and complete diagnostics/repairs Program addressable fire alarm systems, loops, and network panels Perform commissioning, cause-and-effect testing, smoke control, elevator recall, and voice evacuation testing Complete recurring inspections and acceptance testing in accordance with NFPA 72 Generate inspection reports, deficiency lists, and closeout documentation Coordinate with sprinkler, suppression, BAS, elevator, and low-voltage contractors Read blueprints, riser diagrams, one-lines, and submittals Maintain redlines, as-builts, and permit/AHJ compliance documentation Train end users and clearly communicate deficiencies and service recommendations Follow all NEC, NFPA, and OSHA safety standards Participate in rotating after-hours/on-call service as needed Requirements 3+ years of commercial fire alarm installation, service, or inspections experience Strong understanding of NFPA 72 and NEC (NFPA 70) Experience with at least one major platform: Notifier / ONYX EST / Edwards Simplex 4100 Siemens Gamewell-FCI Fire-Lite Silent Knight Ability to program addressable systems and perform loop diagnostics Ability to read and interpret blueprints, risers, and device layouts Comfortable using laptops and manufacturer configuration software Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to lift 50 lbs and work from ladders and lifts Certifications Required or obtainable within 6 months: NICET II+ in Fire Alarm Systems (NICET III preferred)
