Job Summary We are seeking a Manufacturing Project Coordinator to manage customer orders from order entry and material procurement through production, scheduling, shipment, and final delivery. This onsite role in Buford, Georgia, works closely with customers, sales, engineering, production, warehouse teams, vendors, and shipping partners. The ideal candidate has experience coordinating multiple projects or customer orders in a manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate all aspects of assigned customer orders, including sales coordination, parts ordering, manufacturing, scheduling, shipping, and final delivery. Manage material costs to stay within budget and make recommendations to improve project profitability. Coordinate job requirements and maintain effective communication with customers, warehouse personnel, production teams, vendors, and shipping agents. Communicate necessary project activities and updates to Sales, Shop Management, Engineering, Warehouse Management, and Technicians. Work directly with customers regarding scheduling, product delivery, and ship dates. Verify material quantities on hand, materials on order, and material order status. Attend weekly internal coordination meetings. Verify the accuracy of orders prior to shipment and follow up with the warehouse to ensure correct shipping dates. Monitor assigned accounts receivable and escalate past-due invoices through appropriate customer contact. Help ensure warehouse areas are accessible, organized, and safe. Oversee, contribute to, and coordinate facility maintenance activities as needed. Maintain organized project information and coordinate multiple activities to support timely completion of customer orders. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 5 years of experience in project coordination or a related role required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong email communication skills and professional email etiquette. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to understand instructions and project requirements, ask appropriate questions, and communicate information clearly and effectively. Strong customer service skills with the ability to understand customer needs, coordinate solutions, address concerns, and follow through to resolution. Ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, warehouse personnel, production teams, and internal departments. Safety-conscious approach when working in or traveling through warehouse and production areas. Ability to coordinate materials, information, resources, and multiple activities to accomplish project goals. Associate or bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field preferred. Multilingual skills preferred. Experience with warehousing, manufacturing, or project management software preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or electrical panel production environment preferred.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
