Job Description

Underground Utility Supervisor / Project Manager Sikes Underground, LLC is seeking an experienced Underground Utility Supervisor / Project Manager to join our team. This position will play a key role in coordinating and overseeing underground utility construction projects from start to finish while assisting with the daily operations of the company. We are looking for someone who understands underground utility construction, is comfortable managing multiple crews and projects, and can keep jobs organized, productive, safe, and on schedule. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee underground utility projects from start to completion Plan daily and weekly work for multiple crews and job sites Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project schedules Communicate with foremen, customers, general contractors, inspectors, engineers, and company management Review project plans, specifications, scopes of work, and schedules Conduct jobsite visits and monitor project progress Help identify and resolve field issues before they cause delays Ensure crews have the information, equipment, and materials needed to complete their work Monitor production, job costs, schedules, and overall project performance Assist with scheduling new and upcoming projects Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of crews and equipment Help manage change orders, additional work, and project documentation Ensure work is completed according to project requirements and company standards Promote and enforce company safety policies and jobsite safety requirements Assist management with daily company operations and crew coordination Maintain communication between the office and field personnel Help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget Qualifications Previous experience in underground utility construction is required Supervisory, superintendent, foreman, or project management experience preferred Knowledge of underground utility installation and construction practices Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) is strongly preferred Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to coordinate multiple crews and projects at the same time Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced construction environment Comfortable working both in the field and with office/administrative personnel Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Must be dependable, professional, and willing to take ownership of projects What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who can see the big picture of a project while still paying attention to what is happening in the field each day . We need someone who can take responsibility for a project, coordinate the people and resources involved, communicate effectively, and help keep our daily operations running smoothly. This is not strictly an office-based project management position. The right person will be actively involved with our field operations, crews, customers, and jobsites.

Pay:
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
