Project Manager - Restoration in McDonough, GA A growing restoration company is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial restoration projects throughout Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, organized restoration professional who can manage projects from initial assessment through completion while maintaining strong communication with customers, insurance professionals, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Requirements:
3+ years of Project Management experience within restoration, reconstruction, construction, or a closely related field Experience managing residential and/or commercial construction or restoration projects Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, documentation, and production Ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and project logistics Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, estimates, construction documents, and project specifications Strong leadership skills with experience coordinating field teams and subcontractors Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project documentation Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to project sites Preferred 3-5+ years of restoration-specific Project Management experience Experience with water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage losses Commercial and/or large-loss restoration experience Experience managing projects valued at $1M+ Xactimate proficiency IICRC certification(s), including WRT, ASD, AMRT, or related credentials Experience managing crews of 5-10+ employees and subcontractors Experience working directly with insurance adjusters and carriers Understanding of insurance claims, supplements, change orders, and restoration documentation requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field
Responsibilities:
Manage residential and commercial restoration projects from initial assessment through completion and closeout Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes, and production plans Coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and project logistics Monitor project costs, profitability, schedules, and production throughout the life of each project Conduct site visits and monitor project progress, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction Communicate regularly with property owners, business owners, insurance representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams Review estimates, scopes of work, change orders, supplements, and project documentation Identify and resolve project challenges while minimizing impacts to schedule, budget, and customer experience Ensure accurate and timely project documentation Collaborate with mitigation, estimating, reconstruction, and operations teams to ensure smooth project transitions Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to established quality standards Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service throughout the restoration process
Compensation, Benefits & Perks:
