Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Wilson Construction Management, LLC has the people and resources necessary to complete the most challenging and complex projects in various geographical areas. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are followed
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates
  • Conduct site visits to ensure work is being completed according to plans and specifications
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Oversee the procurement process, including obtaining bids from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols on job sites
  • Provide guidance and support to project team members
Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Proven experience in project management within the construction industry
  • Preferred heavy civil/DOT project experience
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction documents
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
