Job Description Overview:
Cornerstone Control Systems is a licensed electronic systems contractor, providing a "One Source Solution" in fire life safety, access control, video management, surveillance, communication, intrusion detection, fire suppression and other related low voltage systems with offices across the Southeast.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of low-voltage projects
  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems in line with technical specifications
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines; ensure milestones are met and projects are delivered on time
  • Daily and weekly coordination with PA team
  • Supervise technicians and subcontractors - provide direction, support, and quality oversight
  • Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications; ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and maintain quality control
  • Manage project budgets and ensure financial targets are achieved
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, engineers, and vendors; proactively resolve project issues
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Firm understanding of construction budgets and business metrics
Requirements:
  • Construction management degrees or project management certifications are a bonus
  • 3 years of industry experience
  • Firm understanding of construction budgets and business metrics
  • Proficient in project management software (Excel, Procore, Sage)
  • Comfortable reading drawings, enforcing safety protocols, and traveling to project sites
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Work on multiple projects independently and as a team
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Skills Needed:
  • Project Management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong leadership and client relationship skills
