Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a Project Manager to support our APN-241 program in Warner Robins, GA. This role supports an existing team that oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, production control, engineering, business management, and operations amongst others. The successful candidate will have a strong finance background with the ability to create and monitor forecasts, while also overseeing special projects.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monthly production and billing forecasts
- Understands program financial targets and supports the Program Manager in achieving financial goals and forecasts
- Review and update monthly customer CDRLs
- Directly influences project outcomes by understanding customer demand and contract terms and conditions
- Submit repair invoices using SAP and WAWF
- Provide status updates to customers using systems such as CAVAF and CAVRP
- Coordinate and track shipping of serviceable assets to customers
- Track assets through the repair lifecycle
- Monitor established delivery schedules and provide status up
- Provide support for both internal and external audits
- Use root cause analysis to identify problems and formulate potential solutions
- Act as the Program Office's central point of contact with DCMA
Basic Qualifications:
- have these changed?- Must have High School Diploma/GED and 6 years related experience
- Will also consider a bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience in project and/or program management or a master's degree and 0-1 years experience in project and/or program management; or an associate's degree and 4 years' experience in project and/or program management
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (not required to obtain before hire)
- Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
Preferred Qualifications:
- Business Management/Finance background
- SAP experience
- Experience leading projects, tracking turn-around-times, drafting CDRLs, crafting briefing slides, and managing tasks as assigned by the Program Manager
- Forecasting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail an accuracy
