Schedule:
Monday-Friday, weekends as necessary About the Role Ekman Painting is a growing residential and commercial painting company looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help keep projects running smoothly from start to finish. This role is all about execution, communication, and organization. You'll work directly with the owner and project manager to coordinate schedules, order materials, communicate with customers, and make sure crews have what they need to succeed. If you're organized, calm under pressure, and enjoy checking things off a list, this role will be a great fit. What You'll Be Responsible For Schedule painting crews and coordinate start dates Order paint and materials for upcoming projects Prepare project start packets at least 48 hours before projects begin Communicate with customers on scheduling, progress updates, and punch lists Update projects notes, photos, and status in our CRM system Support project managers with day-to-day coordination Help keep projects on schedule and customers informed What This Role Is Not This is not a sales role This is not an estimating position This is not a full project manager role Your job is to support production and communication, not to sell work or manage crews directly. What We're Looking For Strong organization and time-management skills Clear, professional communication (phone, text, and email) Ability to juggle multiple projects at once Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment Detail-oriented and reliable Construction, trades, and/or office coordination experience is a plus Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required!
