Project Manager- Coatings

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager specializing in Coatings to lead and oversee coating projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and coatings application, coupled with excellent communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and closing of coating projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project workflows. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to coatings applications and construction site plans. Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to ensure compliance and cost control. Oversee construction site activities related to coatings application, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Utilize construction estimating tools such as Stack or similar software for accurate budgeting and resource allocation. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality standards, and adherence to schematics and specifications. Implement project management best practices including time management, risk mitigation, and effective communication strategies. Use construction estimating techniques combined with blueprint reading skills to prepare accurate cost proposals. Ensure all project documentation is maintained meticulously for future reference and compliance audits. Experience Proven experience managing coating or construction projects within a residential, commercial or industrial setting. Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, contract management, and blueprint reading with a focus on coatings or related trades. Hands-on experience with construction site operations including safety procedures and quality control measures. Familiarity with schematic interpretation for coatings applications and civil/site plans. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Pay:

$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
