The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce implementations, project management methodologies, and excellent communication skills. This role is highly impactful and accountable for ensuring the successful delivery of Salesforce solutions, and in time other enterprise applications that align with our business objectives and enhance our overall customer engagement strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce projects from initiation to closure. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget. Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution. Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and end-users, to gather requirements and align project objectives. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, providing updates on project status and changes.
Technical Oversight:
Work closely with Salesforce developers and administrators to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to best practices. Assist in the identification and evaluation of new Salesforce features and functionalities that can enhance business processes.
Change Management:
Adopt change management processes to support Salesforce changes into production, future implementation and regulatory compliance. Facilitate training sessions and create the necessary documentation to guide users through system changes.
Risk and Issue Management:
Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and address challenges proactively to keep the project on track.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements. Conduct project reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
Performance Tracking:
Track project performance against established KPIs and metrics, providing regular reports to management. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
Budget Management:
Manage project budgets and ensure that resources are allocated efficiently. Track expenses and report on budget adherence and any variances.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field; PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is a plus. 6+ years of experience in project/program management, with at least 4 years working with Salesforce implementations. Strong understanding of Salesforce products, processes, features, and best practices. Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project) and Salesforce tools (e.g., Salesforce Lightning, Apex, etc.).
