Job Description

We are currently seeking a Project Scheduling Manager to support our project in Scoville, ID. The Project Scheduling Manager is a key player of the construction management team that is overseeing the Spent Fuel Handling Project. This project is located at the Naval Reactors Facility on the Idaho National Lab property. This role will assist the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager with the development of project plans, will focus on reviewing the accuracy and validation of subcontract vendor schedules (baseline, monthly, and three-week look-ahead), including progress and schedule logic management. Forecasting, diagnosing, and assisting the Construction Manager in schedule forecast analysis. Job responsibilities include but aren't limited to: Review and maintain subcontractor schedules in P6 Assist in the integration of subcontractor schedules into a master Integrated Construction Schedule Reporting and monitoring progress on major construction project milestones Supporting the Project Controls Manager in review of multiple subcontractor schedules in tracking the status of work on a weekly basis Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports and other ad hoc reporting as requested by the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager Supports the Project Controls Manager with day-to-day administration of the project, including the financial control, reporting, and monitoring Provides the earned value progress and performance reporting for the project Provide variance analysis of schedule slip Frequent contact with project management, project team members, field craft, and finance stakeholders
Qualifications:
5 or more years of work experience 3+ years of experience on large scale heavy industrial projects Experience with Primavera P6 5 or more years of experience (demonstrating of proficiency) in administering project schedules Must be able to how proof of US citizenship (to comply with government customer requirements and/or applicable government regulations) Experience with the MS Office Suite - specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to plan, organize, document, perform, review, and present multiple subprojects with minimum supervision Communication skills including the ability to interact with all levels of the project team Documentation and the ability to clearly articulate to others
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with
ARES PRISM
is a plus Experience with project accounting and cost estimating is a plus Experience with Deltek Acumen software Financial analysis experience Scheduling and Modeling software experience a plus
Work Environment:
Office environment with occasional job site walk downs May be exposed to areas of high noise levels, hazardous propellants, explosives, chemicals and industrial facilities
Physical Requirements:
Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditions Must be able to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, and lift. Lifting requirements limited to 25 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing, and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. Must be alert to hazards in the field.
