Area Production Manager, Berkeley Building Co.What You'll Do:
Provide leadership in your assigned communities. Manage the home construction process to ensure on-time completion while meeting financial, quality, safety, and customer experience goals. Manage the construction processes for homes from start to completion. Work to maintain the motto, "Clean Site, Done Right, On Time." Manage schedule changes with trade and supply partners to maintain closing and completion schedules. Notify trade partners and office staff of changes to the schedule. Make scheduling adjustments in communication with the Construction Manager and actively communicate with team members as needed. Complete jobs on time according to pre-determined construction timelines. Work closely with Designer & Office Coordinator to ensure homes are built in accordance with contracted specifications, design selections, and accurate implementation of any change orders in the field. Close-out home completed and clean to hand over to Customer Service manager for Warranty Follow-up. Responsible to conduct the New Home Orientation (NHO) and ensure pre-close completion of any NHO items, all while achieving customer experience goals. Meet the guidelines of EPA, SWIPP, and OSHA programs and enforces compliance. Maintain a clean community and jobsite, leaving adjacent lots in good condition when construction is completed. Any other task that may be assigned from time to time.About You:
80% or more of work performed in the field, ability to self-manage. Proven work experience in construction management or related role. Professional attitude and appearance with a customer-service demeaner. Team-oriented mindset. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise. Proficiency in Construction Management Software and/or related experience. You may lift heavy objects from time to time up to 50 pounds.
