- Manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish, including project planning, production, scheduling, and closeout.
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, scopes of work, proposals, and other construction documents.
- Coordinate with estimators, superintendents, foremen, field personnel, vendors, manufacturers, inspectors, and customers.
- Assist with scheduling labor, materials, equipment, and other resources required for each phase of construction.
- Monitor project progress, costs, budgets, profitability, and overall performance.
- Understand and manage the financial impact of change orders and production performance.
- Coordinate and communicate project changes with field personnel and management.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and complete project documentation.
- Work with production personnel to identify and resolve project issues quickly and effectively.
- Communicate with customers and other project stakeholders throughout the project.
- Process manufacturer warranties and assist with project closeout.
- Review completed projects to compare estimated costs with actual costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with the Safety Coordinator to identify, correct, and report unsafe conditions in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
- Help develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams. What We're Looking For
- Experience in commercial roofing, construction, or project management .
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, materials, and construction processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Understanding of project budgets, job costing, change orders, and profitability.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with both field personnel and office staff.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and keep projects moving forward.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining safe work practices and OSHA compliance.
- Ability to use computers, tablets, phones, and construction-related technology. Software & Technology Experience with the following is beneficial:
