Job Description

Symbotic is seeking an On-Site Project Manager to lead deployment of our AI-enabled warehouse automation systems within manufacturing and distribution environments. You will plan and execute end-to-end implementation projects, coordinate cross-functional installation and commissioning teams, and serve as the primary on-site contact for customer stakeholders. Responsibilities include schedule, scope, and budget management; risk and issue tracking; vendor coordination; and progress reporting. You'll drive continuous improvement, enforce safety and quality standards, and ensure smooth handoff to ongoing operations in a fast-paced, engineering-driven culture. Responsibilities Lead on-site deployment of warehouse automation projects from planning through commissioning Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources for manufacturing/warehouse implementations Coordinate cross-functional engineering, installation, and software teams on-site Act as primary customer liaison, providing status updates and resolving issues Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and dependencies Oversee vendor and contractor activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards Maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and change requests Drive continuous improvement of deployment processes and playbooks Support system testing, validation, and handoff to operations teams Ensure compliance with site policies, safety regulations, and Symbotic standards Required Skills Project management Warehouse and manufacturing operations Industrial automation/robotics familiarity Schedule and resource planning Budget and cost control Risk and issue management Vendor and contractor management Technical documentation and reporting Stakeholder communication and presentation Change management
