- We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
What You'll Do:
Manage day-to-day operations across multiple active job sites Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement timelines Coordinate with union carpenters, millwork foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers Lead client communication with a solutions-oriented, transparent approach Review drawings, submittals, and RFIs; manage change orders Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable codes Track project financials and provide regular reporting to ownershipWhat We're Looking For:
4+ years of project management experience in commercial construction (carpentry, millwork, or interior fit-out experience a strong plus) Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling software, and budgeting Excellent communication skills — with clients, crews, and ownership alike Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering results that exceed expectations Experience working with union labor preferred A bit about us:- Headquartered in the Western Suburbs, we are an up and coming contractor specializing in high-quality carpentry and millwork services across the Chicagoland area.
