Project Manager

This position is for passionate individuals looking to help change the industry in the markets we serve through education. This is a salary position. Qualified individuals will have a passion for roofing and building framing. This is a limited hands on job with focus on managing roof installations. Physical work and application is often required but not a primary responsibility. This is a construction environment with long inconsistent hours in variable temperatures. Your duties will be to coordinate and work with subcontractors to complete roof projects per code and manufacture instructions. During this process you will update customers of the progress, educating them about the process and how it pertains to code and manufacture instructions for their unique structures.

Requirements:

Must be capable of lifting repetively over 70lbs Must be willing to work early mornings and/or late evenings and weekends as jobs require Must have basic knowledge of carpentry and be prepared to exercise that knowledge into practice Must be okay with working from heights and unleveled surfaces. Must have a valid drivers license. Must be able to obtain a class E in Missouri Must have some experience or be willing to learn to drive larger pick up trucks and back up trailers. Must be able to work with computer software to manage jobs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Managing job site for quality installation Holding accountable roof installation standards Document job progress through photographs Educate yourself, subcontractors and customers about roofing process

Secondary Responsibilities:

Maintenance/clean equipment Organize Shop area Make occasional repairs unassisted Correct framing failures on jobsite Travel to other states to work with and learn from other roofing professionals Attend classes to further educate yourself about roofing process
