Job SummarySupports the delivery of projects under guidance and develops foundational project management knowledge through hands-on experience and learning.
ResponsibilitiesPlanningCreates simple task lists for themselves and, when provided with clear guidance, documents assigned tasks into project plans for small groups or teams Stakeholder ManagementDemonstrates awareness of immediate key stakeholders and, with guidance, is able to identify and understand their needsCommunicationsProvides personal task and progress updates within their team or assigned projectUses standard tools and templates with feedback from more senior colleagues to support learning and developmentRisk ManagementIs aware of potential project risks and demonstrates an understanding of basic preventative actionsEscalates risks or concerns as needed under guidanceProject DeliverySupports the delivery of projects by completing assigned tasks under guidance and within defined timelinesResource Management (people, finances etc.)Develops foundational knowledge of resource management by assisting others in tracking and maintaining project resources, documentation, and timesheetsCustomer CareSupports assigned simple customer-related projects through completion under close guidanceCommunicates with customers at pre-defined milestones using approved messaging and processesDemonstrates basic technical knowledge of designated products and processesHandles escalations with close guidance from a leader or managerAssists in resolving issues under guidance to support positive customer outcomesQualificationsEntry-level experience (0-2 years) preferredDiploma or Bachelor's Degree preferredEntry-level or introductory Project Management certification preferredGrowth mindset with the ability to strive in a fast-paced environment to meet multiple project deadlinesEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
