Project Coordinator, Environmental Compliance and Strategy Location:

Chicago, IL Pay Rate:

23-31 per hour depending on experience; 15%

Medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k, paid time off You will keep a fast-paced environmental compliance and strategy team of more than 40 specialists running smoothly. The group's expertise spans natural resource management, permitting, federal lands, tribal matters, and vegetation, supporting renewable energy projects across the United States. What You Will Do Keep the team's data and files organized and complete, and handle expense reports, purchase orders, and invoice processing. Act as the point of contact between the team and internal and external parties, managing inquiries about the program. Gather and organize information, pull out key findings, and review documents for accuracy. Support service contracting, coordinating between the team, in-house legal, and outside parties to develop and execute agreements. Run team meetings end to end, from agendas and facilitation through to notes and action tracking. Manage scheduling, travel, catering, and event logistics, and keep an eye on new tools that could make the team more effective. What You Will Bring Experience in administrative or office support, with strong MS Office skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, sharp time management, and the ability to re-prioritize in a fast-moving environment. A professional, solution-oriented approach, discretion with confidential information, and a team player mindset. Nice to Have A bachelor's degree or equivalent further study. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, with Oracle, DocuSign, or GIS experience a bonus. Interest in the energy industry and environmental topics.
