Construction Project Coordinator - Utility Infrastructure Job Description The Construction Project Coordinator supports utility construction projects by organizing project documentation, schedules, and field coordination to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of transmission, substation, and grid modernization work. This role offers stable, office-based work with minimal travel and clear growth paths into project management. Responsibilities Track project progress and identify risks, issues, or scope changes impacting cost or schedule. Communicate project updates, risks, and changes clearly to the Project Manager. Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, logs, and records. Support construction planning and daily project execution. Update schedules, track milestones, and monitor productivity. Coordinate with field crews and subcontractors to support safety, quality, and schedule. Assist with site organization, safety inspections, and compliance efforts. Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to support project success. Essential Skills Experience in construction, field-based, or related roles. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong interpersonal skills with field and office teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Interest in utility construction and project management. Willingness to learn high-voltage transmission, substations, and related work. Motivation to grow into project management or leadership roles. Why Apply? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
