Sycamore Engineering also provides telecommunications, engineering and design, and 24-hour service support to clients. By combining multiple trade capabilities, the organization streamlines project coordination and fosters high-quality, reliable results for a wide range of construction needs. Role Description The Electrical Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Terre Haute, IN. This role oversees electrical construction projects from planning through completion, including managing schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure work is delivered on time and within scope. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with internal trade teams and external stakeholders, reviewing electrical designs and specifications, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The Electrical Project Manager prepares project documentation, monitors progress, resolves issues on job sites, and supports continuous communication with clients and contractors. This position also contributes to estimating, procurement decisions, and process improvements to enhance project performance. Qualifications Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical systems, including safe work practices and relevant codes. Experience in electrical contracting and electrical construction project coordination or management. Hands-on skills in electrical design and familiarity with electrical engineering principles. Demonstrated ability in budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking for construction projects. Experience managing multi-trade or commercial/industrial construction projects is beneficial. Proficiency with project management software and basic office productivity tools. Effective communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site and in the field. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Relevant technical degree or certification in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, OSHA) is an advantage.
