Job Description
The Project Coordinator I provides coordination and administrative support for Fiber Engineering projects. This position is responsible for monitoring project activities, maintaining project documentation, coordinating cross-functional communication, identifying potential project issues, and supporting project managers in achieving project objectives. The role exercises independent judgment in prioritizing work, coordinating project activities, and recommending solutions to routine project challenges. Job Responsibilities Coordinate assigned project activities to support the timely completion of engineering deliverables, permitting requirements, and customer commitments. Monitor project schedules and milestones and communicate status updates to project leadership. Review project information to identify schedule conflicts, missing documentation, or potential workflow issues and escalate concerns as appropriate. Coordinate project communications among Engineering, Permitting, GIS, Construction, and other internal stakeholders. Facilitate project meetings by preparing agendas, documenting meeting notes, tracking action items, and following up on outstanding deliverables. Maintain project schedules, trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools to ensure accurate and current project information. Review project documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards. Coordinate project document routing, approvals, and distribution to ensure timely completion of project requirements. Prepare recurring and ad hoc project status reports for project managers and department leadership. Process project documentation updates, change requests, and workflow activities within established procedures. Identify opportunities to improve project tracking, reporting, and administrative processes and communicate recommendations to project leadership. Prioritize assigned tasks and manage multiple project support activities in a deadline-driven environment. Maintain project records in company project management and document management systems. Support project closeout activities and ensure required project documentation is properly archived. Perform other related duties as assigned.
