Job Title:
Project Manager Job Description The primary role of the Project Manager is to provide planning, leadership, and direction in the daily implementation of conveyor integration projects. The successful candidate will lead a project team to drive deliverables, ensuring that projects are completed with the highest standards. Depending on the size, multiple projects may be managed simultaneously. The Project Manager will manage customer specifications and deliver systems that meet or exceed expectations, utilizing MS Project schedules to ensure quality and timely delivery. Responsibilities Setup projects consistently and ensure customer expectations are exceeded by the project team. Manage contract documents and develop a project plan for the team to follow. Maintain financial responsibility for profit/loss through monthly budget reporting. Demonstrate competency in risk mitigation, scheduling, and critical path planning. Conduct weekly project team meetings with internal and external customers. Oversee customer acceptance and project closeout. Manage customer requirements and provide closed-loop reporting to relevant parties. Complete monthly billing and cash flow analysis. Negotiate customer changes into the contract and budget. Perform other responsibilities as needed. Essential Skills Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and financials. Proficient in bid drawings to understand the scope of work. Capability to travel to job sites and manage projects both on paper and in person. Detail-oriented and organized, ensuring consistent, accurate work. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication with attention to detail. Excellent collaboration and influencing skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Business Management or equivalent experience. 2+ years experience in managing conveyor installation projects. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Experience with MS Project. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Ability to obtain facility security clearance as needed. Work Environment This role involves a combination of office, customer offices, job sites, and vendor locations with required travel. The physical demands include high productivity in the office, prolonged sitting, repetitive typing/data entry, and possible climbing and lifting up to 20 pounds at job sites. The work schedule generally follows office hours of Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with variability based on project site requirements. Travel is 60% or more, depending on project size and number of projects managed. The opportunity is with a dynamic company poised for growth, offering potential for long-term wealth building as it transitions to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Union, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $150000.00/yr. Eligible to enroll in health, dental, vision, voluntary term life insurance, critical illness as well as accident insurance which are effective date of hire. Additionally, this package offers employer paid enrollment for basic life insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability. 401k plan offers a Safe Harbor employer match of 100% to the first 3% of compensation contributed and 50% to the next 2% of compensation contributed. $50/month phone allowance Profit sharing program Vacation, PTO and holiday Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Union,KY.
