Project Manager /Sales Location:
Louisiana (Winnsboro, Monroe, West Monroe, Shreveport, and Alexandria)Note:
You do not need to reside in Louisiana. Compensation This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is based on a 55% company / 45% contractor split . An overhead deduction will be applied to the gross amount of each project to cover company expenses, benefits, taxes, and other operational costs. You will receive a $50 bonus for every customer review (Google, Facebook, email, letter, etc.) collected. A monthly vehicle allowance of $500 will be provided to cover transportation costs for your primary vehicle. The company will also pay for one tank of fuel per week for your primary vehicle. Schedule & Work Style You will manage your own schedule . Periodic team meetings may be required to ensure coordination. 2 Qualifications A background in building or construction is required. You must be sales-motivated , proactive , and possess a strong personality . Relationship-building, networking, and active involvement in local associations is expected. You must be physically capable of climbing roofs and performing inspections . Training on company systems (e.g., Sales Rabbit ) will be provided. Ideal backgrounds include candidates from insurance, real estate, or roofing industries . Responsibilities 1. Generating Leads and Sales Actively prospect and generate new business through channels like referrals, online leads, networking, and door-to-door marketing. Qualify leads and follow up to convert them into sales. Educate potential clients on roofing products and services tailored to their needs. Perform on-site assessments and provide accurate estimates. Present roofing proposals that meet client expectations. 2. Client Meetings and Relationship Building Meet with clients to assess needs and provide professional consultations. Build long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals. Serve as the primary point of contact from inquiry through project completion. Collaborate with insurance adjusters when needed. 3. Roof Inspections and Estimations Conduct thorough inspections to assess repair or replacement needs. Accurately measure roof dimensions and assess project scope. Deliver timely and comprehensive estimates. 4. Managing the Sales Process Prepare, present, and deliver contracts and proposals. Follow up to close deals and address questions. Manage client expectations and monitor project progress. Ensure documentation like contracts and permits are properly completed. 5. Project Coordination and Management Coordinate with production teams and subcontractors to ensure timely execution. Monitor progress to maintain quality and budget. Oversee quality control and resolve any issues promptly. 6. Marketing and Networking Build relationships with insurance agents, realtors, property managers, and other influencers. Attend industry and community events to increase brand awareness. Promote services through advertising and community engagement. 7. Sales Goals and Reporting Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Track sales activity and update the CRM system. Regularly report performance, challenges, and job statuses. Stay informed about industry trends and materials. 8. Customer Satisfaction and Follow-up Ensure project completion meets customer expectations. Conduct post-project follow-ups to confirm satisfaction. Sales Goals Revenue and Performance Metrics Drive new sales and upsells to meet revenue targets. Increase average job size through upselling of premium materials or services. Achieve a minimum 30% conversion rate on leads. Pipeline and Lead Management Generate new leads via marketing, referrals, and networking. Maintain a consistent follow-up process to nurture relationships. Customer Satisfaction Maintain a high customer satisfaction rate through excellent service. Encourage and collect referrals from satisfied clients. Networking and Outreach Develop referral partnerships with adjusters and agents. Represent the company at community events and in local advertising. Quotation Efficiency Improve proposal turnaround to close deals faster. Maintain quote accuracy to protect project profitability. Market Penetration Identify underserved markets for growth opportunities. Upsell complementary services and higher-grade products. Team & Collaboration Share insights and challenges with peers to improve team success. Professional Growth Pursue ongoing training in sales and roofing technologies. Conduct self-reviews and seek performance feedback. Contract Closing Enhance quote close rates with compelling proposals and effective negotiation. Ensure all paperwork is completed promptly and accurately. Personal Development Stay engaged with past clients and nurture long-term relationships.
