POSITION SUMMARY
As a Project Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for the scheduling, project cost, and reporting across a portfolio of Engineering Projects. Ensuring the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of projects schedules, actual cost, and cost forecasting. Support long term manpower planning. Implement project control processes and procedures to assure consistency across projects and teams. Monitor schedule and cost across the company to assure teams meet process and procedural requirements. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining resource-loaded schedules, managing risks, and supporting project managers through effective project controls. Your expertise in Primavera P6 software will be essential to delivering engineering projects on time and within scope. Direct interface with Project Managers, lead project engineering and design teams. Develop and strengthen relationships with client Project Controls Personnel.

Ensure engineering design-leads develop execution plans and update the project controls systems. Validates execution plans. Train and Develop Project Controls staff to accomplish project controls requirements. Executing Review and Update Schedule, Budget, and Forecast Monitor and control change Ensure execution plans are updated when approval of change in scope, schedule, quality, or deliverables is received Track Project Progress and issue updated schedule to Project Manager Bi-weekly highlighting issues and schedule slips. Maintain the appropriate level of communication with Management Ensure project team follows company Project Controls policies and procedures Competency Statement(s) Accuracy

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Experience:
0
  • 10 years related experience in Project Controls, Expertise in modern scheduling and cost tools
Computer Skills:
MS Office Suite (MS Work, MS Excel, etc), Bluebeam / Adobe, MS Windows, Primavera P6
Certifications & Licenses:
Primavera and PMI Scheduling Professional certifications preferred
Other Requirements:
