Job Description

The Personnel Consulting Group is seeking an experienced, safety-minded Project Manager to lead heavy civil, industrial, paving, and infrastructure projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will own the project lifecycle—overseeing budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination—while ensuring all work meets our high standards for quality and OSHA compliance.
Key Responsibilities Project Execution:
Lead the planning and execution of heavy civil, paving, industrial, or federal construction projects, ensuring delivery is on time and within scope.
Financial Oversight:
Manage project budgets, forecast costs, oversee procurement, and negotiate change orders to optimize project profitability.
Subcontractor & Team Coordination:
Direct and collaborate with field superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep daily operations moving efficiently.
Client & Stakeholder Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies, ensuring clear communication and contract compliance.
Safety & Quality Control:
Enforce strict on-site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards to maintain a zero-injury environment.
Qualifications Experience:
5+ years of construction project management experience, ideally specializing in heavy civil, highway/paving, industrial or public/federal works.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent hands-on field management experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with construction scheduling, budgeting, and project management software.
Core Competencies:
Strong leadership, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving on active jobsites.
