Job Description

Job Summary:
The Project Manager will serve as the primary on-site leader for all assigned restoration projects. You will be accountable for managing all aspects of the job, including project planning, on-site supervision of crews, client communication, and ensuring financial targets are met. This role requires an individual who is not only technically proficient in restoration but also an excellent communicator and a strategic problem-solver.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead all aspects of restoration projects, from initial emergency response to final walkthrough. Create and execute project plans, manage timelines, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and guide restoration technicians and subcontractors. Provide clear instructions, monitor progress, and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Client & Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the main point of contact for property owners, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders. Build and maintain strong professional relationships by providing consistent, clear, and timely project updates.
Financial Oversight:
Generate and manage project estimates using Xactimate or other industry-standard software. Track all job costs, manage budgets, and ensure projects are profitable.
Documentation:
Maintain meticulous and accurate project files, including photos, daily logs, work authorizations, and all necessary documentation for compliance and billing.
Quality Control & Safety:
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all work is performed with high-quality craftsmanship and strict adherence to safety protocols and IICRC guidelines.
Qualifications:
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the restoration or construction industry.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong, hands-on knowledge of water, fire, and mold damage restoration processes.
Residency:
Must live in Lake Charles, LA, or the surrounding areas to ensure prompt response to local jobs and travel efficiency to other markets.
Software Proficiency:
Expert-level experience with restoration estimating software, specifically Xactimate .
Certifications:
Current IICRC Certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT) are strongly preferred.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Flexibility:
Must be willing to work on-call and respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.
Driver's License:
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
Background Check:
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
