Company Description LAD Services is a full-service marine fabrication, repair, and construction company headquartered in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. Founded in 1996 by Lee A. Dragna, the company has grown to more than 400 employees across three facilities in south Louisiana, with its shipyard located on East Stephensville Road north of Morgan City. The company specializes in new barge fabrication, drydock and dockside repair, marine salvage, structural fabrication, and industrial blasting and coatings. Role Description The Project Manager role at LAD Services of Louisiana, LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Morgan City, LA. The Project Manager oversees marine construction and equipment projects from planning through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, managing project schedules, tracking materials and equipment, and monitoring progress against milestones. The role involves reviewing technical specifications, resolving issues that arise in fabrication or logistics, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders on project status and risks. The Project Manager also supports safety and compliance initiatives, prepares reports and documentation, and works closely with leadership to improve processes and project outcomes. Qualifications Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder communication Expeditor and Expediting experience to track materials, ensure on-time delivery, and coordinate with suppliers Inspection skills to verify quality, compliance with specifications, and adherence to safety standards Logistics Management skills to organize transport, shipping, and handling of marine equipment and project materials Experience in marine, offshore, construction, or industrial environments is preferred Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Ability to work on-site in Morgan City, LA and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Proficiency with project management software and standard office productivity tools Relevant technical or business degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
