As an Electrician you will perform the field work that powers businesses, facilities, farms, and operations while helping Pat's deliver dependable service, strong project execution, and long-term customer relationships. As the Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across a variety of job sites. You will work closely with the owner, project leaders, other electricians, apprentices, and customers to complete work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

The Role:
Leading, Guiding, and Directing The Electrician will perform skilled electrical work in the field across commercial, industrial, and agricultural environments. This role is responsible for reading plans, installing electrical systems, troubleshooting problems, completing repairs, supporting project execution, and ensuring all work is performed in compliance with company standards and applicable code requirements. Key Responsibilities
Electrical Installation:
Install conduit, wire, panels, disconnects, breakers, lighting, controls, devices, equipment connections, and other electrical components for commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects.
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose and repair electrical problems in power, lighting, control, and equipment systems to restore safe and reliable operation.
Industrial & Agricultural Systems:
Work on motors, pumps, irrigation systems, motor controls, service equipment, distribution systems, and other electrical systems common to industrial and agricultural facilities.
Blueprint & Plan Reading:
Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, electrical schematics, specifications, and layout drawings to complete work accurately.
Preventive Maintenance:
Perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to reduce failures and downtime.
Safety & Code Compliance :
Complete all work in accordance with NEC, OSHA, company safety standards, and job-site rules.
Job Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, material used, issues identified, and changes needed in the field.
Customer Communication:
Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members regarding job status, needed repairs, field conditions, and next steps.
Team Support:
Work effectively with apprentices, helpers, and other electricians to keep work organized, productive, and aligned with project goals.
Care of Tools & Equipment:
Maintain company vehicles, tools, meters, PPE, and job-site equipment in safe and professional working condition. Scorecard

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of apprenticeship or formal electrical training preferred.
Experience:
Experience in electrical installation, service, maintenance, or troubleshooting required; experience in commercial, industrial, or agricultural electrical work strongly preferred.
Technical Strength:
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, materials, troubleshooting methods, and installation practices.
Code & Safety Knowledge:
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, electrical safety practices, and OSHA job-site expectations.
Licensing:
Valid driver's license required; journeyman license or other applicable credentials preferred based on experience and role.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift materials, climb ladders, work outdoors, stand for extended periods, and perform physical field work in commercial, industrial, and agricultural environments.
Communication Skills:
Able to communicate clearly with supervisors, coworkers, and customers while maintaining professionalism on the job.
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
