Job Description

Preconstruction Services Coordinator Shreveport, LA | Full-Time $60,000 - $75,000 per Year (DOE) Ready to launch your construction career with a company that's been building success for over 75 years ? We're partnering with an established and growing construction company seeking a motivated Preconstruction Services Coordinator to help bring projects to life before the first shovel hits the ground. If you enjoy problem-solving, planning, organization, and working with a team to make big projects happen, this could be the perfect opportunity. Whether you're a recent Construction Management graduate or have a few years of experience, this role offers the chance to learn from industry professionals and build a long-term career. What You'll Do Preconstruction & Planning Conduct pre-bid site visits Assist with project scope development Compare vendor and supplier pricing Coordinate subcontractor site walks Prepare cost estimates and budget information Develop proposals and bid packages Prepare submittals and sample packages Review and mark up construction drawings Assist with project planning and scheduling Maintain and organize project documentation Provide support to operations and field teams Additional Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with subcontract processing Support RFI tracking and material orders Help manage project changes and documentation Coordinate permit submissions What We're Looking For Qualifications Degree in Construction Management or a related field Understanding of construction processes and methods Ability to read and interpret construction plans Experience with construction takeoffs Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Experience with Adobe Acrobat PDF is a plus (training available) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Success Traits Eager to learn and grow professionally Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Detail-oriented and dependable Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-focused mindset Strong mathematical and analytical skills What's In It For You?
