Focus:

Project governance, financial reporting, metrics analysis, and process standardization What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Supporting the standardization and documentation of PMO processes, templates, and governance frameworks Assisting with project financial tracking, budget reporting, and variance analysis Coordinating data collection and analysis to produce project health dashboards and metrics reports Supporting portfolio-level reporting to leadership and key stakeholders Maintaining and improving project management tools such as Jira, ensuring data accuracy and usability Contributing to the identification of process improvement opportunities across active projects Coordinating with project teams to gather status updates and support compliance with PMO standards Assisting with capacity planning, resource allocation, and project scheduling activities What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: 2-5 years of experience in a PMO, project coordination, or project management support role Demonstrable experience with project governance, financial reporting, or metrics analysis Proficiency with Jira and other project management platforms Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to interpret and present project metrics Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Hands-on experience supporting project governance and organizational process improvement Exposure to portfolio-level decision-making and strategic project prioritization Opportunity to develop financial acumen and reporting expertise Clear insight into how PMO functions drive organizational delivery Potential for contract extension based on performance and business needs Flexibility and independence in a contract-based role structure Professional development through exposure to diverse projects and stakeholder management About Specialist Staffing Group We connect talented professionals with rewarding contract and permanent opportunities across finance, governance, operations, and project management.
