Your Role:
The PMO Project Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Bio-Techne Integration. This position requires a strategic, detail-oriented professional with demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast paced and time-bound environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project planning, execution, and governance activities that directly support the integration. This role demands strong cross-functional stakeholder management capabilities, sound judgment in ambiguous situations, and a disciplined approach to risk and issue management throughout the full project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and budgets specific to the project. Ensure all assigned projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, with clear accountability across workstreams. Coordinate interdependencies across parallel workstreams, including legal, finance, HR, IT, and commercial teams, to ensure integrated and cohesive project delivery. Support the development and maintenance of an integrated master schedule across all project activities. Stakeholder Engagement Serve as a central point of coordination between cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders throughout the projects. Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, working groups, and alignment meetings to ensure all project participants are informed and engaged. Communicate project status, decisions, and escalations clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Maintain strict confidentiality protocols when engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Performance Monitoring and Reporting Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics to monitor progress against defined milestones. Conduct regular project status meetings and produce accurate, timely reporting for leadership and governance bodies. Proactively identify deviations from plan and escalate issues with recommended corrective actions. Risk and Issue Management Identify, assess, and document potential project risks and issues across all workstreams. Develop and maintain a risk register with clearly defined mitigation strategies and ownership. Monitor risk exposure throughout the project lifecycle and adapt plans accordingly. Documentation and Governance Maintain comprehensive and audit-ready project documentation, including project charters, decision logs, action trackers, status reports, and lessons learned. Prepare and present project updates, executive summaries, and governance packs for senior leadership. Ensure documentation management practices adhere to confidentiality and data governance requirements. This will be an onsite role and may be based out of Burlington, MA or St. Louis, MO.Who You Are Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, Life Sciences, or a related field is required. A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred. Professional certification in project management such as PMP (PMI) or PRINCE2 is strongly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years supporting complex, high-stakes programs. Prior experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects involving legal, finance, IT, HR, and commercial stakeholders. Travel requirement up to 50%Preferred Qualifications:
Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced, confidential environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it clearly to senior audiences. Demonstrated ability to influence and build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities. High degree of personal accountability, discretion, and professional integrity. Ability to operate effectively with ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project Proficiency in SmartSheets Pay Range for this position: $125,800- $188,800 The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position.
