Come join Team Chatham! The Town of Chatham is seeking an experienced, strategic and collaborative professional to serve as Municipal Projects Director within the Department of Public Works. This senior-level position plans, oversees and manages complex projects of significant importance to the Town. Under administrative direction of the Director of Public Works, the Municipal Projects Director manages municipal projects, including capital and special projects, from planning through completion. The position is responsible for project development and coordination, procurement and contract administration, construction change order management, project tracking and closeout, budget and cost estimate development, data analysis and preparation of project-related reports and communications. The position provides technical assistance and coordinates initiatives across Town departments and with outside agencies. This is a benefits and pension-eligible position, with a starting annual salary range of $121,555.20 - $126,422.40; FLSA-Exempt/Salaried 40+ hours per week (with the expectation of evening meetings and requirements outside of standard hours of business).
