JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Manufacturing Project Coordinator to support operations within our CNC machining and mechanical assembly manufacturing environment. This position will play a key role in estimating support, ERP maintenance, manufacturing process coordination, and operational data management. The ideal candidate will work closely with estimating, engineering, production, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to support quote development, manufacturing method reviews, ERP system accuracy, and continuous operational improvement. This individual must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities and maintaining a high level of accuracy. Key Responsibilities Estimating & Quote Support Obtain and manage raw material pricing for RFQs (Request for Quotes) Obtain outside service provider quotes including plating, coatings, heat treat, finishing, and other subcontracted services Track and organize quote activity and estimating-related tasks Support estimating functions by ensuring timely and accurate supplier responses Manufacturing & Process Review Perform Level 1 manufacturing method reviews during the quote and planning stages Assist with evaluating manufacturing routing methods and operational workflows Coordinate with manufacturing personnel regarding process updates and production changes Support implementation of manufacturing method changes during active production runs ERP System Responsibilities Maintain and update engineering activities within the ERP system Support implementation of ERP changes across open manufacturing orders where needed Develop a strong understanding of ERP functionality Utilize ERP data and reporting tools to improve operational efficiency and workflow accuracy Assist with job status tracking and manufacturing visibility within the ERP system Support document retention and digital record management through scanning and electronic filing processes Required Skills & Competencies Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably CNC machining or mechanical assembly Familiarity with ERP (Epicor Kinetic) systems in a manufacturing setting Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to communicate effectively with office and shop floor personnel Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing manufacturing environment Experience with manufacturing routing, estimating, purchasing, or production coordination preferred Preferred Skills Understanding of CNC machining and mechanical assembly processes Experience reviewing manufacturing methods or routings Ability to analyze ERP data and generate operational insights Benefits Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical insurance (PPO and HDHP with HSA) w/ Prescription Coverage Dental PPO Insurance Vision PPO Insurance Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance Company Paid Life Insurance and AD & D - Including options to add on additional life insurance for yourself, spouse & children.
