TIME FOR CENTRAL MOCO MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION AND AVAILIBILITY FOR 3 + DAYS A WEEK
Town & Country Move Management (TCMM) is the new move management division of Town & Country Movers, a local leader in the move industry with 47 years of award-winning customer service. TCMM offers personalized move management services designed to support clients through every aspect of their downsizing, organization and move needs. Located in Gaithersburg, MD, we serve clients in the District, Virginia and Maryland metro area. Our goal is to build a team of energetic, customer-centric, compassionate professionals who enjoy working together to create order in a multi-task environment. Our move managers take the lead as coordinators of our client's projects and the team that supports the client to ensure the highest level of customer service is achieved.
JOB DESCRIPTION TCMM
services include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • One-on-one downsizing assistance
  • Space planning and design
  • Move planning and coordination
  • Packing, unpacking and organization of new spaces
  • Clear out services including donation, disbursement and disposal
  • Occupied staging and/or full staging services through T&C Staging Division Our work environment includes on-the-job training and growth opportunities with a competitive part-time salary structure.
The physical requirements of this job can be demanding, requiring you to be on your feet for several hours at a time and the ability to lift 25 lbs. Additionally, the skills needed to help clients go through years of memories and possessions require strong people skills, patience, empathy, great communications skills, logic and the ability to work in messy environments. We strive to work with people's schedules—the more flexible your availability, the more scheduled work you will receive.
IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+years in customer service and/or event management
  • Skilled in organization, interior design and project coordination with the ability to remain flexible, proactive, and resourceful
  • Senior move management experience a plus
  • Ability to professionally interact with clients, community associates, and internal teams in a very fast-paced work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Patience and empathy in difficult situations and transitions
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to drive to client worksites within reasonable distance in the DC/MD/NoVa region
  • Available to work 3
  • 4+ consecutive days between 8 am
  • 6 pm Monday
  • Friday with very occasional Saturday work during busy seasons (May-October).
  • Must have smart phone or computer to check schedules and work emails daily
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Responsibilities Coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Maintain effective communication with clients and team members to ensure customer satisfaction and project alignment. Provide organizational support and develop strategies for efficient project execution.
