This position is largely responsible for the daily operation and advancement of the development projects. In particular, the Development Analyst will encounter a variety of roles on the team including maintaining detailed project coordination and organizational structures, managing project budgets, and management of various sub-initiatives across the projects. This role will have the opportunity to grow within the organization and take on more responsibility and decision-making opportunities across the projects. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Administration Establish and maintain a structured project documentation and file organization system to support transparency and information sharing for the Real Estate Team. Track project schedules and monitor progress and delays; Review contractor, consultant and vendor invoices for accuracy and compare to applicable proposals/contracts; Coordinate project schedules, timelines, and key deliverables across teams; Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes and action items; Assist with vendor coordination, contract tracking, and invoice processing; Assist with various reporting requirements including CBE, First Source and government and/or private lender financial reports. Financial & Analytical Support Collaborate with internal team to ensure financial assumptions and projections remain up to date Assist in preparing monthly draw packages and lender and/or investor reports Development Support Assist in RFP and contracting process for architects, engineers, contractors, and other outside consultants; assist in evaluating RFP responses assist in the contracting of various consultants, contractors and vendors; work closely with the design and construction team throughout the development process. Assist in obtaining project entitlements and permits, including meetings with City/County staff to negotiate outstanding issues; creating presentations for public forums; assist in tracking the fulfillment of entitlement proffers and conditions; Coordinate, schedule, and attend project meetings (design, construction, internal) including preparing agendas and documenting meeting notes and action items. Qualifications & Skills 1 - 3 years of experience in real estate development, capital projects, or related fields. Self-starter with a passion for real estate development Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and integrity with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment While candidates must be collaborative, they should also have the ability to work independently and lead portions of a project to leverage the team's efforts Knowledge of development fundamentals, including process, proforma, design, financing, permitting, construction, and project management Strong financial, entrepreneurial, problem solving, time management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present updates clearly and confidently to senior leaders. High degree of professionalism, discretion, and problem-solving ability under pressure.
