Job Description
Position Overview The Construction Expediter plays a key role in supporting project managers and ensuring materials, equipment, and documentation are properly tracked and coordinated throughout the lifecycle of each project. This position helps keep projects organized, on schedule, and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with daily coordination and administrative tasks
- Track and manage material orders, deliveries, and inventory
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Maintain organized project documentation and records
- Ensuring safety in the field
- Support scheduling and communication between field crews and management
- Assist with permits, inspections, and compliance tracking as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction coordination, project administration, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Valid driver's license required
- Clean driving record required
