Annapolis, MD About Builder Capital Builder Capital provides U.S. based home builders with an alternative to traditional financing. We acquire entitled land in conjunction with a lot-option contract, giving builders greater flexibility than recourse bank debt. We support our builder partners through market research, well-timed development support, and lot repurchases to maximize returns. Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to serve as the lead day-to-day point of contact for an assigned builder project and relationship and to provide support on other land banking projects This role owns the builder surveillance and compliance process, project coordination, document review and signing, manage the team on this assigned builder project and data entry that keeps the relationship running smoothly. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and other members of the firm and will lead the transition to a new project database for the assigned builder relationship.   • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned builder relationships, coordinating daily communications, and project activities.
  • Lead the migration from Access to Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central. Maintain database functionality and troubleshoot technical problems related to the software.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools to improve project management processes, operational efficiency, reporting, communication, and overall business outcomes. This skill set also applies to the Lot Banking Responsibilities, described below.
  • Review and sign project documents, including lot purchase documents, lot sale documents, and permit documents.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate, up-to-date project records. Support the underwriting of new projects, structuring and analyzing transactions in preparation for investment committee review. Lot Banking Responsibilities
  • Provide project underwriting and management assistance across the platform,
  • Assist with monthly lot takedown tracking, helping ensure portfolio assets remain in compliance with option and construction agreements.
  • Support diligence workflows to help meet contractual land acquisition closing deadlines.
  • Contribute to the quarterly asset management report for investors.
  • Support senior management and other members of the firm on ad-hoc analytical and operational tasks. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive workstreams simultaneously.
  • Comfort with reviewing legal and transactional documents and maintaining accurate records.
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to support underwriting and transaction analysis in Excel, Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central.
  • Strong technical aptitude with demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly, troubleshoot complex system issues, and support the effective use of business applications, including AI, across multiple projects.
  • Candidates must possess advanced-to-expert Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to navigate and maintain complex workbooks, create and modify sophisticated formulas, develop dashboards and reports, analyze project and financial data, and support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with builders, counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in real estate, land development, lot banking, or home building finance preferred.
