In this role, you will act as the central communication hub between our commercial and residential clients, project managers, and field electricians. The ideal candidate will manage technician schedules, handle service dispatching, coordinate permits, and ensure all administrative tasks run smoothly. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a background in the construction or electrical trades, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Dispatch & Scheduling :
Manage the daily schedule of field technicians, optimizing routes based on geography, job urgency, and electrician skill sets.
Permit & Inspection Coordination :
Smaller jobs will require preparation, file, and track electrical permit applications with local municipalities and schedule final inspections upon job completion.
Work Order Management :
Open, update, and close out service tickets through our tracking processes, ensuring accurate documentation of parts and labor.
Material/Equipment Procurement :
Order specialized parts, coordinate vendor deliveries, and track material requisitions to ensure electricians have the supplies needed for each job. Setup and track specialized tools or equipment needed for specific job sites.
Billing & Invoicing :
Review time-and-material sheets, prepare customer billing for approval, generate quotes from electrician field notes.
Client Communication :
Act as the primary point of contact for incoming service requests, providing professional customer service, project updates, and issue resolution.
Qualifications & Skills Experience :
Minimum of 2 years of dispatching or coordination experience within the electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or construction industries .
Technical Knowledge :
Familiarity with basic electrical components & terminology.
Software Proficiency :
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer tasks. Other industry specific software applications that are utilized will require inhouse training and self-learning time allowed.
Communication :
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a confident, professional phone presence.
Organizational Skills :
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize high-volume schedules, and manage data entry with zero errors under tight timelines.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional active listening, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
Benefits & Compensation Salary Range :
(commensurate with experience).
Cell Phone:
Reimbursement $50/month
