  • School Construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. About the Role The Project Manager will oversee all phases of assigned school construction projects
  • new construction, additions, and full renovations
  • managing budget, schedule, quality, and safety while serving as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities Manage all aspects of assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination. Lead project buyout, negotiate and manage subcontracts, and process change orders. Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and proactively addressing delays or risks. Review construction documents, submittals, and RFIs for accuracy and constructability. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and school district representatives. Coordinate closely with site superintendents to ensure alignment between office and field. Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, billing, and cost reporting. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and school-specific requirements (site logistics around occupied campuses, phasing, security, etc.). Lead project meetings and produce timely, accurate progress reports. Manage project closeout, including punch list, commissioning, and turnover documentation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of construction project management experience; K-12 or education-sector experience strongly preferred. Experience with occupied-campus or phased construction is a plus. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and standard estimating/scheduling tools. Strong working knowledge of CSI divisions, contract documents, and construction means and methods. Must have GC experience Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
