Project Manager - Commercial Construction Project Manager opportunity supporting large-scale commercial construction projects throughout the DMV region. This role will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout while managing project execution, coordinating teams, and helping drive successful delivery across complex and technically demanding environments. Projects include commercial, federal, mission critical, secure, and other highly regulated construction work throughout Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and surrounding Maryland markets. Responsibilities Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and daily project execution Coordinate with Superintendents, field teams, architects, engineers, consultants, and ownership groups Participate in OAC meetings, subcontractor meetings, and internal project coordination efforts Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, budgeting, forecasting, billing, and project reporting Support project safety, quality control, and schedule adherence Assist with permitting, contract administration, and overall project administration processes Help resolve operational and field issues to maintain project progress and client satisfaction Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders Qualifications 4+ years of experience with a general contractor Experience managing commercial construction projects Experience supporting federal, mission critical, secure, occupied, phased, or technically complex projects preferred Strong understanding of construction operations and project financials Ability to manage multiple phases of construction simultaneously Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, or similar software Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Active clearance or prior federal project experience is highly preferred Project Locations Washington, DC Northern Virginia Stafford / Fredericksburg / Culpeper region Maryland surrounding the DMV region Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Bonus opportunity Full benefits package PTO and paid holidays Long-term growth opportunities with a well-established construction teamSimilar remote jobs
