Assistant Project Manager•
Civil Site Construction Location:
Stevensville, MD Position Type:
Full-Time (Monday-Friday)Salary:
$65,000- $75,000 (based on experience)

Stuart Contractors is a growing civil site construction company committed to delivering high-quality work with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork. We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support our operations and help drive project success.Position Summary:
The Assistant Project Manager will work directly with the Project Manager and Director of Operations to support the planning, coordination, and execution of civil site construction projects. This is a full-time, office-based position located in Stevensville, MD (no field work required). This individual will have opportunities for growth and advancement within our organization.Key Responsibilities:
Perform quantity take-offs and assist with estimating Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination Support Project Managers with daily project execution and administrative tasks Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers from the office Assist with procurement of materials and equipment Support integration and implementation of GPS technology and machine control systems Review plans, specifications, and contract documents Maintain organized project files, logs, and reporting systems Attend and document project meetingsQualifications:
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred) 1-3 years of experience in construction or civil site work (preferred, but not required) Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with estimating software or project management tools is a plus Self-motivated with a strong attention to detailWork Environment:
