Job Description

Hughes Bros. is seeking a Junior Project Manager to oversee projects including commercial site work and municipal projects in the Bangor Region. This individual must be be able to guide a project team, work effectively with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors, manage contract administration, and be a problem solver. Estimating skills and experience in the field are desired. Stay close to home on all projects in the greater Bangor Region.
Summary of Duties:
Project Estimating Interpret Specifications and Contract Documents Prepare estimates and bid documents. Lead crews in an organized and efficient manner. Schedule projects, order materials and coordinate with subcontractors. Ensure that project is managed and operated in an efficient manner. Visit sites daily and provide support to crews. Oversee proper care of tools and equipment. Provide contract administration including preparation of submittals, pay requests, and other tasks. Be proficient in communication, mathematics, and computer applications such as
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Benefits Include:
