Job Description
Job Summary MainStreet Design Build is hiring a Production Project Coordinator to support our residential remodeling production team. This is a hands-on field and office position for someone who is organized, dependable, proactive, and interested in growing into project management. You will help our Project Managers keep projects moving by coordinating inspections, handling material pickups and deliveries, maintaining project documentation, following up with trades and suppliers, and supporting day-to-day production logistics. This is not just a runner position . We are looking for someone who can learn our projects, anticipate needs, and follow assigned responsibilities through to completion. What You'll Do Pick up and deliver project materials, samples, permits, plans, and equipment Attend and coordinate routine inspections Visit jobsites to take photos and document progress Help coordinate deliveries and project logistics Follow up with subcontractors and suppliers Track open production tasks and help ensure they are completed Update project information and documentation Assist with project startup, punch lists, warranty items, and closeout Help Project Managers prepare for upcoming phases of construction Support scheduling and production administration Identify missing information or logistical issues before they cause delays Support Project Managers in contract negotiations, change management, and final project closeout activities. Experience Proven experience in construction site management or residential remodeling projects with a strong understanding of construction industry practices Demonstrated proficiency in project management software such as Builder Trend, Co-Construct, Job Tread, or similar tools Strong organization and follow-through Dependability and accountability Ability to work independently Comfort working in both an office and active construction environments Professional communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Willingness to learn residential construction and project management Initiative—the ability to recognize what needs to happen next instead of always waiting for direction Residential construction or remodeling experience is required.
