Job Description
Key Responsibilities Direct multiple construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover, ensuring successful execution across all phases. Oversee project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and overall profitability. Lead project planning efforts, scheduling, staffing, and operational execution to maintain project objectives. Build, mentor, and develop high-performing project teams while supporting recruiting and long-term talent growth. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships through consistent communication and service. Manage contract administration, identifying and resolving commercial risks and contractual matters. Establish project-specific quality standards and ensure work is delivered in accordance with company expectations. Review project schedules, financial reports, and completion forecasts to ensure milestones and budgets remain on track. Collaborate with field leadership to enforce company policies, jobsite procedures, and operational best practices. Partner with safety personnel to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Escalate critical project concerns to executive leadership when necessary and implement effective solutions. Provide strategic direction to project teams, making key decisions that drive successful project outcomes. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of construction project management experience with big box projects Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. Proven experience leading cross-functional construction teams on complex projects. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term client partnerships. Strong financial management, communication, and leadership skills. Willingness to relocate for certain opportunities, depending on business needs.
