We are seeking a Project Manager with hands-on expertise in Azure and AI technologies for a contract position based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role will lead enterprise-scale cloud and AI initiatives from concept through deployment over a 6+ month engagement, managing timelines, resources, budgets, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations for Azure and AI initiatives. Manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Establish project governance, reporting cadence, and executive-level status communications. Monitor progress against key milestones and proactively address schedule variances and risks. Deliver Azure and AI projects that drive measurable business value and increase adoption of AI-enabled solutions. Provide accurate executive reporting and lead proactive issue resolution. Qualifications Required Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies and AI initiatives (not theoretical knowledge alone). Proven experience leading enterprise-scale projects from concept through deployment. Strong project management skills including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, budget management, and risk management. Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives in a cloud and AI environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate with executive stakeholders and deliver clear status reporting.
