Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Industrial Fire Protection Project Manager to lead and oversee specialized fire protection projects throughout industrial and high-hazard environments. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in complex suppression systems, industrial construction coordination, and customer-facing project execution. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from kickoff through closeout, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, customer communication, and field support. Responsibilities
- Manage industrial and special hazard fire protection projects from award through completion
- Coordinate engineering, fabrication, field labor, subcontractors, and customer requirements
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement tracking, and change orders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and internal teams
- Conduct project meetings, site visits, and progress reviews
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Support commissioning, inspections, and final turnover documentation
- Assist with estimating, scope reviews, and technical problem solving as needed Preferred Experience
- Industrial fire protection systems
- Special hazard suppression systems
- Foam systems
- Dry chemical systems
- Refinery terminals and tank farms
- Petrochemical or heavy industrial facilities
- Fire sprinkler and suppression system project management Qualifications
- Previous project management experience in fire protection, industrial construction, or mechanical contracting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and industrial fire protection applications preferred
- NICET certification, PMP, or related industry certifications are a plus
- Ability to travel approximately 20% Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary negotiable up to $120,000 depending on qualifications and experience

Pay:
