Job Description
Title :
Roofing & Architectural Sheet Metal Project Manager Primary Function :
The Project Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle management of commercial roofing and architectural sheet metal projects, from pre-construction through closeout. This role oversees project planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and client communication while ensuring safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and profitability. The Project Manager also leads and develops field teams to deliver exceptional results in alignment with company standards and MIOSHA requirements.Reports To :
Vice President, CSG Roofing & Sheet Metal Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage all phases of roofing and architectural sheet metal projects, including planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, track costs, and ensure profitability targets are met.
- Ensure all work complies with MIOSHA regulations, OSHA standards where applicable, and all local, state, and federal safety requirements.
- Enforce company safety policies, conduct regular jobsite safety audits, and ensure proper use of PPE, fall protection, and hazard controls.
- Collaborate with Vice President, contractors, vendors, and field leadership to ensure seamless project handoff and execution.
- Plan and manage project schedules, labor allocation, equipment needs, and material procurement.
- Oversee field operations by working closely with superintendents and foremen to meet production goals and timelines.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety performance.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, including safety hazards, delays, and compliance issues.
- Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation in accordance with contract and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Oversee project closeout, including punch lists, final inspections, and documentation turnover.
- Maintain accurate records for compliance, including safety logs, incident reports, and training documentation.
- Train, mentor, and support the development of field personnel with an emphasis on safety and compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Travel Percentage:
The travel schedule is based on project needs. Can meet or exceed 30-40% of total time.Benefits:

$80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per yearBenefits:
