Job DescriptionAt Bosch, we're proud to offer innovative products that meet or exceed the needs and wants of our customers. To help us continue to expand our offerings, we're in search of a Customer Project Manager to lead production projects in our braking product area.
Responsibilities:
Ensure project objectives are met, including timing, specification, budget/profit, and customer satisfactionLead project cross-functional teams, including assigning responsibility for the different functional areas and holding the team accountable to achieve project deliverables and deadlinesEnsure customer sample requirements are met including on-time delivery, technical content, and part maturityServe as primary interface to customer new model launch and engineering teams for project deliverables and ongoing activities, including technical issuesIdentify project risk items and lead mitigation and resolution efforts, including escalation as neededReport status of project deliverables to internal stakeholders in periodic reviews (Project Reviews, Regional PRC, and Global PRC meetings)Develop program timelines and activity reports to drive the on-time completion of critical tasksLead change management with the customer, including evaluation of customer change requests for product design, tooling, and process changes to assess risk, cost, and timing implicationsMaintain project status in Bosch project management systems and customer portalsMake informed decisions on critical topics of complex nature and communicate decisions to all stakeholders using sound logic and clear communicationTravel up to 20% of the time, including some international travel, as required by the position
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience in project management5+ years of project management experience with demonstrated success in launching automotive products into productionExperience managing projects with automotive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) customers in a project management roleDemonstrated experience leading global cross-functional project teams, including engineering, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing functions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in automotive sales, account management, or project management roles with JOEM customersProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management credential Additional InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
