00/hour | Full-Time | Year-Round You've been running jobs for someone else long enough. You know the work. You know what good looks like. You've managed crews, kept clients happy, and delivered results — but at the end of the day, it's someone else's name on the truck and someone else making the decisions. What if you had your own division to build? Miller Yard Care & Construction has been the name Detroit Lakes and Becker County homeowners trust for over 13 years — handling everything from irrigation and mowing to paver patios, retaining walls, shoreline restoration, and tree health. We're hiring a Landscape Sales & Project Manager to take full ownership of our landscaping division: winning the work, running the work, and growing something you can point to and say I built that. This isn't a crew lead job with a better title. This is a career-level role with real authority, real accountability, and a real path forward — including performance-based growth opportunities as the division scales. What You'll Own The Sales Side Meet with homeowners on-site, walk their property, and put together solutions that make sense for their goals and budget Build and deliver proposals for landscaping projects — new yard installs, hardscapes, hydroseeding, sod, riprap, and shoreline restoration Follow up on leads from our marketing (direct mail, web inquiries, referrals) and convert conversations into signed work Be the person clients call, trust, and refer their neighbors to The Project Side Run every sold job from start to finish — material ordering, scheduling, logistics, and final quality Handle permitting, supplier coordination, and job costing so projects come in on time and on budget Be on-site regularly — catching problems early, keeping crews on track, and protecting the standard Miller is known for The People Side Manage, mentor, and develop your landscaping crew leads and technicians Set expectations, hold people accountable, and make sure your team has what they need to do great work Build the kind of crew that homeowners specifically request back Who This Is For Someone with hands-on landscaping experience — hardscape, softscape, or both — who's ready to step into a bigger role A natural communicator who's comfortable sitting at a kitchen table with a homeowner just as easily as directing a crew on a job site Someone who can juggle multiple projects, schedules, and client conversations without things slipping through the cracks A self-starter who solves problems before they become emergencies and doesn't need to be managed Someone hungry to grow — not just do a job, but build something You don't need a sales background. You need to be someone people trust and want to do business with. If you've ever had a client ask for you by name, you already know what we're talking about. What You Get $27
