Restoration Project Manager Job Description This role oversees restoration projects from initial assessment through final completion, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. The Restoration Project Manager coordinates all aspects of construction and restoration activities, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication, while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and building codes. Responsibilities Manage restoration projects from initial site assessment through project completion, ensuring all milestones are met. Develop detailed project scopes, budgets, and schedules that align with client expectations and company standards. Coordinate daily with clients, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and project alignment. Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and internal company policies throughout all phases of the project. Monitor job progress regularly, including quality control checks and evaluation of crew performance, and implement corrective actions as needed. Prepare, maintain, and organize all project documentation, including estimates, change orders, and job costing records. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve project issues, delays, and conflicts promptly to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Conduct final walkthroughs with clients to verify completion of work, address any remaining concerns, and ensure overall client satisfaction. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively to meet deadlines. Collaborate with internal leadership to provide status updates, forecast project needs, and support continuous improvement of restoration processes. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the restoration or construction industry. Strong knowledge of restoration processes, including water, fire, and mold remediation. Proven experience managing construction or restoration projects from assessment through completion. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams. Proven leadership abilities, including supervising crews and guiding project teams toward successful outcomes. Ability to monitor job progress, perform quality control, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and building codes. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with construction and restoration estimating software is a plus. Experience preparing estimates, managing change orders, and performing job costing. Comfort working in dynamic environments where priorities can shift based on project needs. Ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through professional and responsive communication. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr.
